Lea Laarakker
Painting on silk, and creating objects from it, stems from spontaneous ideas. When the silk is stretched out like a large canvas, it is as if my notebook spills out from my mind. The inspiration, along with the way colors blend into one another, determines the final design.
Things emerge in a natural way.
Colors that find their own path and connect with one another.
That is how I know that something is right.
